Wall assembly and painting
When the scoring was completed, I lightly sanded the walls and then ran the blade lightly through the scores to clean them out. Then I assembled the walls of the structure using small picture hanging nails and Elmer's Weather-Tite Carpenter's Wood Glue. Note the "door" (an over sized piece of wood glued behind the door opening) has been installed.
After assembly the structure was painted using Krylon spray paint. The paint should be applied using 3-4 light coats allowing the paint it's specified drying time between coats. Light coats prevent the paint from building up to thick and filling the score lines. I found the painting process actually enhanced the wood grain and made the "siding" very real looking.
