Of course, whenever Sue and I get together, there's a marvelous mess to be made. I like the way she organizes things...get it all out so we can see it and dig right in! This is my friend Vee Moulton sitting at my kitchen table with Sue. Vee's dressing ballerina fairies and having the best time.
And, here's a closeup of one of our "set aside to dry" trays, or Works in Progress. There's a bit of everything here.
Heres's another set of fairies waiting to dry. Can you tell we were enjoying ourselves? Fairy dust was everywhere! Creative energy charged the air!
We also made fantasy fairy furniture. We were laughing and chattering and really accomplished a lot for a 5 day visit. Here's a couple of pieces we made. Every self-respecting fairy needs a vanity, right? Everything a fairy needs to refresh herself, including a basin of water, her face cloth hanging to dry, perfume and fairy dust containers on their own shelf. Watching over her is a birdhouse and a robins nest with eggs. If your fairy asks, you can get her one by visiting LadyBug. She'll custom make one to satisfy the fussiest fairy!
Does your fairy need new furnishings? Bird house, acorn next, climbing vines? Fairies do love to share their space with woodland creatures.
