What if Hillary Loses the Nomination?

Hillary and the Clinton machine will do anything and everything to get her the nomination. I don't doubt that they wouldn't resort to any sort of crime.

But there is a point where even the Clinton machine might fail. Perhaps we are reaching that point tonight, perhaps not. But let's say she is forced out of the campaign now or in the future. What's she likely to do?

I have absolutely no doubt that she will do her best to destroy Obama's chances of winning the general election. I think there are two reasons for this.

Reason Number One:

If Obama loses the general election, Hillary will still be a senator and she will be able to crow that she could have beaten McCain and Obama didn't. She will become the matriarch of the Senate and attempt to control the country through that venue. If Obama wins in November, she will be virtually powerless in the party because Obama will be the president. This election isn't about Hillary being president, it's about Hillary and the Clinton machine maintaining power. No one must be allowed to rise above her in status in the party. The democrat party controls roughly half of the nation, especially with a majority in Congress. The Clinton machine doesn't need the White House to control the party, but only if a republican is in the White House. If a democrat is in the White House, the Clintons will be old stray dogs struggling for scraps falling from the dumpster.

Reason Number Two:

Revenge. Pure revenge. Hillary was the annointed and inevitable candidate, destined to return the Clinton cronies to the executive branch. If she doesn't get there it will be because of Obama and she won't like that one bit. She will destroy him for spite even if my Reason Number One is wrong. She's that nasty.
