Chapter 8
Defining Configuration Rules & Constraints
Contents:
  Global Rules

SC Config Manager allows you to define Global Rules that apply to all Products and Product Classes in the configuration model. (This feature is not available in SCConfig Power Pack Manager). Global Rules take advantage of the inheritance characteristic of the configuration model. When a Rule can be applied globally it saves editing time.
