Defining Configuration Rules & Constraints
Contents:
An Adjunct to Rules - Constraints

Constraints can be thought of as "When" clauses that are attached to a Rule. Constraints can be used with other Rules, and offer a finer focus of description when defining the relationships between a configuration model's constituent elements.

The Constraint Editor at the bottom of the Rule Detail Footer pane allows you to create a Constraint clause that can contain lists of Parts Attributes on each side of a Constraint Operator, much the same as for Rules.
