The chapter describes how Rules work in a Selling Chain configuration model, and the effects they have in a user interface. It provides specific information about Rule components and types of Rules; about building Rules using the Rule Editor; and how Rule logic is interpreted and implemented by the SC Config Engine during product modeling sessions.

The chapter closes with information about special types of Rules available only in SC Config PowerPack Manager that provide additional product modeling flexibility.
