RTXC Real Time Operating System Magazine Advertisement

When our engineering staff in Houston released the our DSP-based RTOS, we wanted to show how advanced our product was - which made me think of evolution, and natural selection.

Sitting in a coffee shop with C.O.O Ford Frost and the Products Manager Linda Kuykendall, I sketched out an idea for the evolution of the wheel, and the headlines. Ford and Linda came up with the ideas that are in the indented lists under each type of wheel. Then we all worked on the ad's body text. It took us two days to get the ad finished.

The RTXCDSP "performance tire" was popular within the company as Windows wallpaper, too. I recall that we had the wheels image from the advertisement done up as a large banner for a trade show that year.
