In the hopes of piqueing readers' interest in network security, I discuss in this user's manual how to create the impression - to those on the Internet who are trying to discover whatever they can about your systems - that your corporate FTP or Web servers are located in the DMZ, when actually they are located on an internal private network. The pna numbers used for IP addresses in this illustration are just there to fill in blank space.

The InterLynx/Secure unit implements NAT and is capable of redirecting network traffic to alternate IP addresses.
