Bill's Observing Links

Comets

http://www.aerith.net/index.html

This is from Japan and it is loaded with data. I like to use the WEEKLY INFORMATION ABOUT BRIGHT COMETS, and the VISUAL COMETS IN THE FUTURE. This data is in more of a tabular format then some sites give. They give about as much data as possible short of a map to located.

http://encke.jpl.nasa.gov/

This site gives more news and also a lot of data. Has more pictures. Has links to some maps.

The main thing on this site are orbital elements and ephemerides for comets to load into planetarium programs. However, for PLANETARIUM for the Palm Pilot, I just use the monthly updates that are posted on the web site.
