Set up using Internet Connection Wizard
with Internet Explorer 5.0

  • At the first window, put a dot next to I want to setup my Internet connection manually

  • Click Next

 

  • Put a dot next to I connect through a phone line and a modem.

  • Click Next

 

  • In the Telephone number box, type your local dial up number (found here)

  • Remove the check next to Dial using the area code and country code.

  • Click the Advanced button.

  • Click the Connection tab.

 

  • Put a dot next to PPP (Point to Point Protocol).

  • Put a dot next to None under the Logon procedure section.

  • Click the Addresses tab.

 

  • Put a dot next to Internet service provider automatically provides one.

  • Put a dot next to Always use the following under the DNS server address section.

  • In the Primary DNS server box, type 205.238.128.39

  • In the Alternate DNS server box, type 205.238.128.42

  • Click OK

  • Click Next

 

  • In the User name box, type your realtime.net email address

  • In the Password box, type your password.

  • Click Next

 

  • In the Connection name box, type Realtime

  • Click Next

 

  • If you have Outlook Express installed, you will be prompted
    with this window. If not, you can skip this screen.

  • Otherwise, put a dot next to No

  • Click Next

  • At the last screen, uncheck the To connect to the internet immediately... box.

  • Click Finish

Your computer should now be setup to connect to the internet!
Open up Internet Explorer and it should automatically try to dial and connect.
