Set up using Internet Connection Wizard
with Internet Explorer 4.0

  • At the first window, put a dot next to "I have an existing Internet account"

  • Click Next

  • Put a dot next to Select this option if you are accessing the Internet using an Internet service provider or a local area network (LAN)

  • Click Next

 

  • Put a dot next to Connect using my phone line

  • Click Next

  • In the Telephone number box, type your local dial up number (found here)

  • Remove the check next to Dial using the area code and country code

  • Click Next

 

  • In the User name box, type your realtime.net email address

  • In the Password box, type your password.

  • Click Next

  • At the Advanced Settings window, put a dot next to Yes

  • Click Next

 

  • Put a dot next to PPP (Point to Point Protocol)

  • Click Next

  • Put a dot next to I don't need to type anything when logging on

  • Click Next

  • Put a dot next to My Internet service provider automatically provides one

  • Click Next

 

  • Put a dot next to Always use the following.

  • In the DNS server box, type 205.238.128.39

  • In the Alternate DNS server box, type 205.238.128.42

  • Click Next

  • In the Connection name box, type Realtime

  • Click Next

  • If you have Outlook Express installed, you will be prompted
    with this window, put a dot next to No.

  • Click Next

  • Put a dot next to No

  • Click Next

  • Put a dot next to No

  • Click Next

 

  • At the last screen, click Finish

Your computer should now be setup to connect to the internet!
Open up Internet Explorer and it should automatically try to dial and connect.
