- Select Apple Menu->Location->Network Preferences.
- The Control Panel will Open up to the Network panel

- Click the configure pop-up list
- Choose Internal Modem
(you may need to choose Modem Port if you are using a machine
without an internal modem)
- Click the TCP/IP Tab
- Select Using PPP in the pop-up list
- In the Domain Name Servers box type 205.238.128.39
- On the next line, type 205.238.128.42
- In the Search Domains box, type realtime.net
- Click on the PPP tab

- Enter Realtime into the Service Provider Field
- in the Telephone Number Field enter your local dial up number

here)
- Enter your realtime.net email address in the Account Name
Field
- Enter your password in the password field
- Make sure that the Save Password box is checked
- Click on the PPP Options Button

- Check the Connect automatically when starting TCP/IP applications
box.
- Check the Prompt to stay connected if idle for _minutes box
(set this time to what ever you would like, 15 minutes is recommended)
- Check Disconnect when user logs out
- Check Redial if busy
(Redial 10 times, Wait 5 seconds before redialing)
- Check Send PPP echo paackets
- Check Use TCP header compression
- Click on the Proxies tab

- This window should be blank.
- Click on the Modem Tab

- Select your modem from the Modem pop-up list.
( If you are using a machine with a built in modem it will probably
be Apple Internal 56K Modem (v.90) )
- Click Save
- Click Save

Your computer is now set up to connect to the internet!
