Using the Internet Setup Assistant

- Click on Apple Menu -> Internet Access -> Internet
Setup Assistant
- At the first window, click the Yes button.

- When asked Do you already have an Internet account, click the
Yes button.

- At the information screen, click the right arrow.
|
 |
|
 |
- In the What would you like to name this configuration box,
type Realtime.
- Put a dot next to Modem.
- Click the right arrow.
|

- In the Which modem are you using drop down list, select iMac
Internal 56k.
- In the Which port is the modem connected to drop down list,
select Internal Modem
- Put a dot next to Tone.
- Click the right arrow.

- In the Phone number box, type your local dialup number.

- In the User ID box, type your realtime.net email address
- In the Password box, type your password.
- Click the right arrow.

- Regarding PPP Connect Scripts, put a dot next to No
- Click the right arrow.
|

 |
- Regarding IP Address, put a dot next to No
- Click the right arrow.
|
|
|
- In the DNS Address box, type 206.66.10.94
- On the next line, type 206.138.224.150
- In the Domain Name box, type realtime.net
- Click the right arrow.

 |
- In the Email address box, type your full email address.
- In the Email password box, type your password.
- Click the right arrow.
|
|
|
- In the Email account box, type username@pop3.realtime.net
(where username is replaced by your actual username)
- In the Email host box, type smtp.realtime.net
- Click the right arrow.

- In the NNTP host box, type news.realtime.net
- Click the right arrow
|
|
|
- Regarding Proxy Servers, put a dot next to No
- Click the right arrow
|
 |
|
 |
- At the final window, uncheck the Connect when finished
box
- Click the Go Ahead button
|
|
|
You should now be setup to connect to the Internet!
