- Click on the Tools menu, then choose Accounts.

- In this window, you will see your currently installed accounts.
- Click the Add button, then choose Mail.

- In the Display Name box, type your full name, then click the Next
button.

- In the E-mail address box, type your email address, then click the
Next button.

- In the My incoming mail server is a box, select POP3 from the dropdown
list.
- In the Incoming mail (POP3 or IMAP) server box, type pop3.realtime.net
- In the Outgoing mail (SMTP) server box, type smtp.realtime.net
- Click the Next button.

- Put a dot next to Log on using.
- In the POP account name box, type your username.
- In the Password box, type your password.
- Click the Next button.

- In the Internet mail account name box, you can leave it as the defaul
- tClick the Next button.

- If you are a Dialup customer, put a dot next to Connect using my phone
line.
- If you are a T1 customer, put a dot next to Connect using my local
area network (LAN).
- Click the Next button.

- If you chose Connect using my phone line on the previous window, you
will now be prompted to choose your connection.
- Put a dot next to Use an existing dial-up connection.
- Select your dialup connection from the list.
- Click the Next button.

- At the final screen, click the Finish button.

- You should now see the new account in the list.
- Click the "Properties" button


- Select the "My server requiers authentication" option
- Click the "Settings" button

- Select the option that reads "Use same settings as incoming mail
server"
- Click "OK"
- Select the "Advanced" tab

- Insert 587 into the "Outgoing mail (SMTP) field
- Click "OK"

Outlook Express 4.0 is now setup to send and recieve email!
