Netscape Communicator 6

  • Open Netscape, then click on the Tasks Menu and choose Mail.

 

  • Once Netscape Mail is open, click on the Edit Menu and choose Mail/News Account Settings.

 

  • From the Account Settings window, click the New Account button

 

  • For the type of account, choose ISP or email provider and click Next.

 

  • In the Your Name box, type your full name.
  • In the Email Address box, type your full email address.
  • Click Next.

 

  • For the type of incoming server, select POP.
  • In the Server Name box, type pop3.realtime.net
  • Make sure the Server Type is set to POP3 Server.
  • Click Next.

 

  • In the User Name box, type your username. This will be the first part of your email address. Click Next.

 

  • In the Account Name box, you can leave the account name unchanged.
  • Click Next.

 

  • Click Finish at the final confirmation screen. This should take you back to the
    main Account Settings window.

 

  • Click on the Outgoing Server (SMTP) category on the left.
  • In the Server Name box, type smtp.realtime.net
  • Click OK.

Netscape 6 is now setup to check your email!
