A view from the beach near Puu Poa Point at Hanalei Bay on the island of Kauai Hawaii. My wife and I met up with Joyce and her husband at Lihue airport. We shared a house just off the beach. This was the site for the filming of South Pacific. Drinks could be had at the nearby Happy Talk lounge. They specialize in cocktails with little umbrellas in them. Joyce took this and many other cool photos, what an excellent photographer.
Braving the muddy terrain we conquered the Sleeping Giant. In the process Joyce and I created the "Muddy Butt Club" and "what the hell hiking".
