How I Spent My Summer Vacation

Our trip to the Galapagos started at 5:00 AM with three taxis, two airplane rides, a bus ride and a motor boat. Around noon we arrived at the cruise ship Ambassador I. That same day we toured our first Island, North Seymour or something like that. When I find our itinerary I'll change this page to reflect more accurate details. The next three days went something like this; breakfast at 7:00, tour island from 8 until 11, return to ship, lunch and cruise to another place, tour until sunset, then return to ship for dinner.

A land iguana.

Iguanas and Boobies hanging out, the Iguanas are vegetarians. The birds and lizards get along well. All these animals have no fear of humans, you could easily step on one of these creatures if you don't watch where you are going.

There are hundreds of these beach bums just soaking up the sun.

This mocking bird was snacking on the Iguana's vermin.

The guide said they get close to share body heat.

Some people would prefer go to the beach, rather than look at animals.

Marine Iguanas have little hands.

Lava Lizards are rare, small and easy to step on. Perhaps that is why they are so rare.

Lonesome George is the last male of his species, he has yet to mate and is seen here chasing off a female who wants to mate.

After a hard day spotting animals, its cerveza time!

Tourists on the fantail.

Kids and kid cocktails.

Easy sight seeing from the bar. Does the rock look more like a boot or a lion?
