Hi, my name is Doug Huyett. This page is about roving and some of the places I've seen. Greatworth Northamptonshire is one of my favorite places to visit, probably because I lived there for 5 years. My children attended Greatworth Primary School and my son was baptized at Greatworth Methodist Chapel. I lived in England for several reasons; one of which is my serious traveling Jones. All this moving about is a family tradition passed down from father to son since my ancestors came to America. My earliest memories are of seeing the world; every year family vacations would take me somewhere new. The year I turned 16, I saved up all my money and went to Europe. After high school I journeyed on a shoestring budget, hitchhiking around the United States. By the time I was 24 I had visited 6 countries, 48 states and held over 21 jobs. I'm passing on this rambling tradition to my kids; my oldest child has been to 23 countries. Three of my children were born overseas. Basically we are global nomads and like to move every two or three years, currently we live in Beijing, China before that we lived in Paris, France, Montevideo, Uruguay, Stockholm, Sweden and Quito, Ecuador.
